Lionel Messi - v7

The team needed him to show for ball more than he did in that last 10/15 mins.

Should be the first one trying to take it and calm game down but was nowhere to be seen.

All shots today, apart from the one after the 1-2 with Pedri, are shots from difficult positions. I am more worried that he almost never gets in a clear goalscoring position anymore. Before every shot he takes there are 11 opponents between him and the goal. Never gets a tapin or 1v1 vs the GK anymore. Of course this is not just his fault but he has to take some blame.

No way in hell. Miami is the perfect location for him if he wants to play in the US. Lots of South Americans that live there, lots of flights to buenos aires, nearly everyone speaks Spanish, and good weather. NYC is another good option but i don't think Leo's family would like the cold. CA is probably out because CR7 has hinted that he does want to be in LA in the near future.

Messi doesn?t fly commercial lmao

It's been said. Hard to get into clear scoring positions if your movement is shit.

Who would give the pass or play 1/2's then? Cause of our slow build up we always face a double bus every match looking to counter quikly.
Its hard to get into scoring positions.

The sooner he's gone the better. I would be astonished if he could make any impact in sides like City or PSG given hs current physical condition. It's like he has aged 10 years in a few months regarding his ability to move and kick. Maybe he had some deal with the Devil, which has expired.

Here I was expecting the classic hyperbole comment. Trademark of this forum.
Obviously this is not the case, but if you do not have analytical skills it is obvious that you are looking for unreal reasons that seem inexplicable

He is a major reason for slow build-up. Slow build-up, poor counter-attacking, and cluttered shape, these are the downsides of building your team around a 33 to 34-year-old Messi.

There are some positives too, but these are big negatives.

Many ''posters'' here have the age of 20 maximum. And the only way they touched a ball was the ones they have in their pants...sorry,not sorry.

Funny from posters, who are only capapble of emo temper tantrums and simping. Messi's pysical ability has diminished so rapidly only blind could ignore it. I never expected this tbh. It's as if something has broken in his knees or smth.

Hard to understand how people don't get physical decline after 30. if you have been there you know it is pretty steep..

He's saving himself for City

I think he'll stay now. If he wanted to leave because he is desperate to compete for CLs and ballon d'ors, he would have pushed harder to leave in January as 2021 is his best shot at both. I see him staying and then the PR spin will be that he just loves the club too much to leave and how the new sporting project convinced him.
