Dude was pressing like a dog for sure, saw him get into duels more often than he ever does usually. Also had some nice passes and really good plays when he did get on the ball but we simply got wrecked in midfield tonight, courtesy of Rakitic and Roberto. Shame about the missed chance.

Messi was good in parts tonight, but I think he looks uninterested. I honestly think there's no motivation to play for this Barcelona team.

There really isn't any technical players who can pass the ball around tight areas for Messi to exploit in this Barcelona team. You seen it a few times tonight Messi was clearly frustrated by his teammates.

Also, look at difference in the coaches tonight. Zidane was out there looking to motivate the players and Valverde was just standing there looking clueless.

think about it guys. even in gaurdiola years the cl second leg was 1-1. it was very difficult to beat real at the noucamp. always seemed to get lucky to win as they have more or less always dominated large periods at the nou camp.

0-0 is not a bad result. At the Bernabau it will be more easier as history predicts unless Zidane parks the bus at home.

He definitely cared in the first half, but he was clearly frustrated by the other players losing the ball so easily. This has got to be the worst Barcelona team he's played in, so it's quite understandable of why he's loses interest during the games.

Just because others were playing bad or not up to his expectations, it was not the excuse for him to lose interests. He is the captain and supposedly a leader, he needs to be able to commit 100% of his attention and efforts.
