Lionel Messi - v7

If City win CL and he moves there he will be ridiculed for it.

PSG will end up refusing to sell Mbappe so cant afford Messi is my guess... Real then get Haaland this summer and Mbappe next unless PSG can persuade him to stay on back of European league meaning French league less of an issue.

Decent for La Liga but for Barca is scary.

He should go to the team which doesnt win CL this year, i mean if PSG or City wins it they wont be motiavted enough to win it against next season. If both dont win he should got to PSG.

A team like city who keep the ball 70 percent of the time against nearly all teams in the league is perfect for messi

Exactly! PSG plays fast, City doesn't. Pep can reinvent his position for sure. I am 100% sure he would find a way to get as much as possible from him. PSG on the other side relies a lot on Mbappe's pace. Incorporating 34y old Messi there would just slow them down. IMHO City is the right choice for him.

City has 70% of possession because they press without the ball.

If you have Messi, you can't press so you won't have the ball for 70% of time.

Furter, City's actions have several attacking options.
If you add Messi, he will play slow ass hero ball type of football through the middle and all ball need to be passed to him.

Messi can shine against Cadiz and Alaves.
That's more or less it.

City getting praise only when you can use it to have a got at Messi. Normally you claim theyare one dimensional side led by Pep that have been worked out by everyone in Europe...

Of course Messi would do well there it is just a question if they think worth the wages and giving up some elements of team for him to join.

Its a team sport, if the team is playing like crap and you have 3 men on you every time you get the ball it's going to be hard for anyone to perform. Messi would be brilliant for City or PSG, 2 great teams with top coaches.

When is the last time Messi had a top coach btw? 2012? Since then he has had Tito, Tata, Luis Enrique, Valverde, Setien and Koeman. That is a pretty poor run of coaches for a club like Barca, it is almost unbelievable seeing them side by side like that, Top clubs need the best coaches to get the most out of their players and Barca haven't provided their players with anyone suitable. Hopefully the next President sees the importance of having a world-class manager.
