You would think that but rumour is Laporta and Deco want LE back.

So more chance of him in 2025 than Klopp imo.

Lucho?

Lol, if he fucks it up managing PSG vs this Barcelona, he is an underwhelming choice. His only top results have been achieved while managing what many call the greatest attacking trio of all time. Even then he managed to make it click for a calendar year only. Since January 2015 to March 2016 or so. Then it went to shit despite a supremely gifted squad.

We have to do much better than LE on our next manager appointment.

I don't think Xavi takes back his decision even if we end up winning the CL. I think he walks, but will be back again in the future.
With Nagelsmann, Amorim out of reach I'd rather we look at someone like Thiago Motta than hire Rafa Marquez.

What's the big deal with Amorim? If anything Porto manager Conceicao is more impressive. I'd take a bet on Conceicao personally. Very impressive what he did with Porto against superior teams in CL in the last seasons.

The truth is if Xavi leaves, all the potential replacements mooted so far are far less suited to managing this crop of youngsters that Xavi himself has brought through, than Xavi himself

Indeed there is a big chance the next manager comes in and destroys all the good work Xavi has done with the youth. They might not have seen him in his prime, but that level of respect will have been evident within the club and you can see that with the way they interact with him.

The only managers that could probably continue this feel good factor and upswing in performance are Klopp and Motta. And for next season at least, we have zero chance of getting either. Worrying times.

Surely the goal is Klopp for 2025 if it's Rafa who takes Xavi's place.

Madrid will go for Alonso 2025. Bayern will have their new manager now already. So the options for Klopp aren't plenty. PSG maybe but who would go there.

Don't overestimate the abilities of Laporta man
There is no such goal.
It's too much sophistication for them

PS: If they move on with this 'plan', then honestly Laporta's current stint goes shoulder to shoulder with bartomeu's

At least people here can’t complain because Rafa took the route they wanted Xavi to take… managing the B team first

But honestly I might prefer Rafa over Flick…

No matter how you dice or slice it, one thing's for sure. The moaners who can't deal with the current club realities are gonna have a busy couple of seasons.

I never wanted that stupid 'route'.
That route is only in the minds of idiots like Laporta as valid, because it happened (successfully) one in a million years with Pep

How can we have such a childish president FFS?
Barca members voted for him should have regretted it by now
