Leroy Sane

So, in top flight football, there are consequences for unprofessional behavior and poor play?

When will Valverde get this memo re: Suarez?

Have a feeling that he may have attitude issues and isn't trying enough in training. knowing Pep he isn't going to put up with that shit and is punishing Sane.

That and Pep thinks having both Mendy and Sane on one side together is unbalanced.

Yeah, although Sane would definitely start over Mahrez on the RW if he did well in training and wasn't sulking. He played that position for Schalke.

I do not think he is good at cutting inside. He is more of a classic winger.
He's not a playmaking winger in the veins of Dembele and even Bernardo Silva.

That's one of the biggest reasons why he isn't playing with Mendy. He's good at what he does but having a LB like Mendy+Sane would be unbalanced. He can play on the right though like DonAK mentioned above. but it seems like he's sulking and Pep dropped him for that.

He was phenomenal for City last season, must really be someting wrong with his attitude at the moment.
Like a lot of younger players, sometimes having a good season makes it go to their heads.

There were rumors when he was training with the national team that he had a poor attitude during training and it pissed off a lot of players and coaches which led him to being dropped from the final squad. Pep isn't a guy that will air the problems to the media. But no doubt Pep isn't happy with Sane's effort right now and he's decided to leave Sane out of the squad and hope he can come back down to earth and be ready to play again.

He is a great talent. Would love him here during the post-Messi and Suarez era as the second winger alongside Dembouz.

Yeah, looks much better now. Formulaic, copy-paste goals like City's first one tonight, where he started his run out wide, are what we should be scoring more of.
