When Scaloni plays a front 3, Messi and Lautaro play deeper. Alvarez furthest. Ignore the formation put on the screen by many television networks. Watch their play in transitions.

Its not even up for debate. Clear as day.
The formations given by the websites are correct.. watch the games also.
Been told to 'ignore' them as contradict this lie that Alvarez has been at CF.

Bull crap!To start with, Argentina under Scaloni rarely plays the 4-3-3 in the traditional sense of it. It has always been a mix of 4-1-4-1/4-1-3-2/4-2-3-1 depending on the opponents and players available. Coming up with a fixated formation in your head does not automatically make it real.
As per TFA Tactical Analysis (a subscription based AI driven football analytics site), Lautaro (anytime he plays) sits behind Alvarez in a 4-1-4-1/4-2-3-1 formation when Argentina is in attack and transition.
Glad the first part of the argument was laid to rest with a whimsical maxim of "you do not change a winning team" nonsense. Lautaro comes in to deputise for Alvarez as a CF for Argentina mostly currently.

Argentina have not had all that many games all three have started but most recent when have it has clearly been more of a 433 and Alvarez on the left of the three.

Alvarez has specifically spoken about not playing CF in these games.
