Lautaro Martinez

It would be cool if he were the starting striker and help the team win the WC.

A lot of people were kind of down on him a few seasons ago.

But now he's top 5-10 strikers in the world.

- For Copa 2024, you don't change the winning formula, but now it's at a point where it's hard to not play Lautaro as he's that good.

- When Scaloni plays a front 3 of (Alvarez, Lautaro and Messi), Alvarez plays on the left. See the Argentine games in Fall 2024.

.......using a maxim to determine a team's selection now? ๐Ÿ˜† (You dont change a winning team, even if you are a better fit for the team, I will not play you...) ๐Ÿ˜†

When Scaloni plays a front 3, Messi and Lautaro play deeper. Alvarez furthest. Ignore the formation put on the screen by many television networks. Watch their play in transitions.

Exactly, use your own advice and watch the games yourself.

The last few games Messi, Lautaro and Alvarez have played Lautaro has been on the left and drifts centrally at times and Lautaro CF.

Its not even up for debate. Clear as day.

The formations given by the websites are correct.. watch the games also.

Been told to 'ignore' them as contradict this lie that Alvarez has been at CF.

The Argentina media have been discussing it and Alvarez also.

Just take the L dawg,

Watch the games lad, happy to provide you links to the games.
:lol::lol::lol:Bull crap!

To start with, Argentina under Scaloni rarely plays the 4-3-3 in the traditional sense of it. It has always been a mix of 4-1-4-1/4-1-3-2/4-2-3-1 depending on the opponents and players available. Coming up with a fixated formation in your head does not automatically make it real.

As per TFA Tactical Analysis (a subscription based AI driven football analytics site), Lautaro (anytime he plays) sits behind Alvarez in a 4-1-4-1/4-2-3-1 formation when Argentina is in attack and transition.

Glad the first part of the argument was laid to rest with a whimsical maxim of "you do not change a winning team" nonsense. Lautaro comes in to deputise for Alvarez as a CF for Argentina mostly currently.

Argentina have not had all that many games all three have started but most recent when have it has clearly been more of a 433 and Alvarez on the left of the three.

It is not even up for debate. Anyone watching the games can see it.

Alvarez has specifically spoken about not playing CF in these games.

The 433 formation those stats sites have is correct.

Clear as day where playing..

You missed the second part of "- For Copa 2024, you don't change the winning formula, but now it's at a point where it's hard to not play Lautaro as he's that good."

Several links of past games if you want to take a watch

Actually watch the games first, then come back to me. Recommend watching the games that happened in Fall 2024.
