Koscielny is on the verge of World Class imo. He's not leaving this season though, maybe next.

Just like he really wished to sell Fabregas, Nasri and Van Persie? Arsenal is not in position to keep their best players, when someone knocks on the door. Especially when someone like Barcelona is knocking.

Don't think that's still valid now that they have paid off (almost) their new stadium. Otherwise they wouldn't be willing to pay 40M pounds for Suarez either I think.

Of course they are. Koscielny signed a new contract a season or two ago and they have money to spend. Those three were different cases in that Fabregas only wanted us and Nasri/van Persie were in their last years of contract. There has been no indication that Koscielny wants to leave now and Wenger won't sell when he's one of only 2 center backs who is fit to start the season/

Nasri and RVP would have left on a free transfer the seasons after, if we forced them to stay. Cesc was a special case. If anything, those transfers taught Wenger to keep his most important players on long contracts. Kosc did say he would leave if we continued not to win trophies, but this is the season we're supposed to challenge.

I keep checking the news everyday hoping to be linked to him. Alba-Pique-Laurent-defensive rb would be sooo legit. Hopefully Martino disciplines Busquets back into playing deeper; we'll be in great shape.
