Makes no sense to jeopardize the league and focus on CL. Big difference between a league title and no title. Need to win vs Sociedad and hope Madrid get blocked by AM. Then if we win the Clasico we build a decent lead. Even a draw is fine.

If we drop points in the league and we have a poor season, by all means go all in for CL and leave the league for dead.

Even if we lose vs PSG and draw vs Chelsea, and win the rest, we are top 4 assured almost. Finished 2nd in league phase last season with 19 pts.

El Clasico is vital for the league this season. This can be like EPL with Pep and Klopp both on 90+ points.

The 3 games before the Clasico are all very winable. Sociedad and Girona at home, both low in the table, and Sevilla away, who we beat with ease last season while puting 9 past them in 2 matches.

Should be 9/9 until Bernabeu in the league without much issues. Madrid have more difficult matches by far.

Both are hugely important. If anything to maintain that perception of being a world class club.

Absolutely. In the end, the future generations don't care if they are oil clubs or not. Today's kids I see wearing PSG and City. As long as you get the best players, that's what matters to your marketing value.

And at this stage PSG is 1 and we are 2. It's a franchise games.

The squad management should be in all the other games around PSG and Madrid.

That's what a strong squad is for.

We don't have that strong of a squad. At this point, the league takes priority for me.

For example, you don't go around resting many players away to Sevilla. Do it at home vs Girona.
