They where better than their league position suggest, not that strange with the players they have. We played some nifty football on occasion in the second half but our defense is still so fucking fragile, no matter who plays.

Is it time to talk about ACTUAL CORRUPTION taken to another level this season?

Let me remind everyone that in the VAR era, the VAR is obliged to check if the offside call on the pitch is correct.
And in the semi-automated era, he doesn't have to take himself the decision.
Machine tells him.

Now look at the image, look at the lines on the grass, and try to argue this was offside:

G189J49WEAACj4t

No replay shown in the TV coverage.
Which can only mean one thing: the VAR did not act at all, which is ILLEGAL here

This is not the first time (remember Tchouameni's handball last season when VAR told the ref 'we have no OTHER angles to show')

FATPORTA needs to lift his FAT ASS from the couch, and initiate FORMAL LEGAL PROCEDURES about it with the referee's overarching body and LaLiga TOMORROW ALREADY

Get your fat asss working CLOWN, and DEFEND the cIub...

They showed the image with Lamine offside.

Thing is offside is taken from the moment ball is first touched, not leaving the foot. So with this AI there is a window to manipulate the decision.

We have the best defensive record along with 2 other teams. Only 5 goals conceded. Feels weird given how shaky we defend at times.
That's because the entire system makes the back line look bad. But at the same time, it allows the opponent to get only to a few chances, People always need to see the bigger picture of Flick's tactic. Obviously the backline will look shaky playing that offensively, having often 1vs1s, but at the same time, you hold your opponent in his own half for most of the game.
So in total, we still concede fewer goals than most teams in LaLiga. The only problem is, that it can break you in a single knock-out match. That's the balance Flick needs to find in the CL, if he wants to win it.

Anyone having this image?

Best bet is to watch the replay of the second. They had Lamine offside by half a body.

I just drew a line based off of the image you shared and I also had Lamine offside, but by half a foot.

Means that (if my maths is accurately, which it most definitely is  ) that LaLiga AI is drawing the line later than the point of contact from the foot, but at the point of exit from the foot. Which is a worry in itself.

Or what I suspect, that they will change the point of where to draw the AI on the whim of who is in the VAR room and what they want to look for. Which is an even bigger worry.

So watch out for this during the season.
