10 days rest ahead of PSG after Las Palmas. If Laporta was smart that's when he should've booked a money grabbing friendly. Think it would've been a good idea to let everyone play 45 minutes or so next Friday. Maybe there are no available teams other than the other Spanish teams that don't play Copa final.

Now there probably will be some game against Barca B behind closed doors but from a financial POV an official friendly could've been good.

The way this is worded is weird. It basically means that he hasn't actually picked up a knock but is tired after playing a 90 minute and a 120 minute game within a span of few days? No shit Sherlock!

BTW here's his penalty yesterday. At this point, his penalty run-up is specifically designed to wind people up.

I'd prefer the rest than having 3 games and a higher risk of injuries, knocks and tiredness.

We can spend the next 10 days scouting with extra scouting on PSG and focusing specifically on building our patterns of play for the away game. Can test run them against one of the youth sides if need be.

And if it doesn't work out and we lose, we can always blame Xavi for not reaching the Copa final
