Even despite injuries we can field a strong rotated XI here. Rashy/Rapha switch is obvious.

Eric, Cubarsi, Martin, Cancelo
Pedri, Casado
Yamal, Olmo, Rashford
Lewy

Fermin should be fairly fresh too. Olmo can drop down to Pedri's spot in second half.

Other option is to start Bernal and Pedri again, or even Araujo if want Eric in midfield. But I think they won't want to start Bernal after his first 90 min of the season.

I believe Yamal is also entitled to rest as well as Pedri.
I know its risky but Pedri was not supposed to play 90 minutes at this temo and Yamal is a kid.
We can sucrifice some points there and even with secon squad we can get the win vs the Mister.

One of the last 4 tough away grounds to visit this season.

Good news is: Bilbao is playing today, so one day less than Barca to recuperate.

Would save nothing here. Go for a win, full strength.
Maybe save Pedri a bit as he was risking it last match staying on for 90mins.

We'll need a fit squad against Newcastle. Best way is probably to start the strongest team, since we have 4 full days of rest and then sub early enough in the second half the usual suspects and especially Lamine, Pedri. Rapha should maybe start on the bench, since he'll be important in Newcastle again and Rashford being fit again.

I continue to believe we need a plan B, more risk averse version of Flick ball, where we can pick up points without going crazy with pressing non stop. This would allow us to pick up the points and arrive in better fitness conditions in the bigger games using the thin squad we have.

In an ideal world, this wouldn't be needed, we'd have a generous squad full of quality players, but this is not that world and 2020s Barcelona is not the team to do that. Maybe in the future.
