Played well until the fatigue and little bit of shock came into play after their second goal. Normally we should have been up by 3 goals at that point. We missed so many chances.

- we played well until sociedads second goal. After that a combination of fatigue, a bit of mental breakdown and bad subs meant we looked very poor and clumsy.

- you simply cannot bring on Cancelo from being on the bench in Saudi Arabia into a hotly contested game at the Anoeta. That was a surprising and very poor sub from Flick.

- as far as points to drop, losing at the Anoeta isn't a season breaker, it's one of those games you account for. Plus, hopefully we got the voodoo bad luck day out of the way - it just wasn't meant to be today and in those cases might as well be that everything goes wrong in the same game.
