Man we missed do many chances. It should have been 5 or 6 for us.
Flick has instilled a strong mentality but there are still weaknesses that need to be addressed.

AM brought in 10 or 11 players this season and still drew against Elche. People shitting on Levante need to keep some perspective.

Calma guys this is an orchestra in formation. Just wait and eventually we will reap the rewards of this squad. It seems like they were quite complacent in these past 2 matches but once they realise their errors we will definitely get back to our best form similar to March 2025 or October 2024.

Plus I feel like Levante has always been a decent enough club before the relegation. I remember that 5-4 game that cost us the invincible season for example

Awful pitch and an average performance.

However, certainly more concerned about our defending.
The suicidal high line will be heavily punished by better teams and so far (its early), I've not yet seen how we will even be 1 percent better this season in that department, especially with no new personnel (Christiansen aside if he stays fit).

How are we a year into Flick's tenure and people are still complaining about a ''suicidal high line''

Yes, a high line is literally a core part of Flick's tactics and we've already seen it's benefits (as well as it's risks) but moreso it's benefits. All of last season was an example of that and last night's game once again. It's not changing and why would it when we won every trophy besides CL last season?

The issue with the high line is that teams have all had a look at it and what will and wont work to try again.. also missing Inigo who was the best organiser at the back.

Flick may well tweak it a bit but unlikely to be against likes of Mallorca/Levante away and particularly not when behind and have to try and get as many men in their half and on front foot as possible.

He didnt always play the suicidal high line last season either. In more than one game Barca when ahead slowed it down and took control of ball. It was not always a crazy high press and an offside line if it was broken.
