Tactics are fine. Nothing we expected from these players today was surreal or impossible. Every chance by Villarreal was a direct cause of some silly individual mistake

La Liga and Copa are no guarantee either with this defense. Especially if/when Real gets a new coach in second half of the season. If they click under him, we will have serious competition

Yes it would. We dont have the best defenders and yet flickball leaves them exposed with acres of space behind them. It's a good excuse from BF.

Not only control. Without him the pressing gets a lot worse too. He's the most important player in our team by far.

How I see it, we were very shaky in the first half and without the Raphinha penalty, perhaps we would’ve suffered greatly in the second half. But after the red card, I see that we were more relaxed and honestly I enjoyed the play we did after Rashford came on. So great win but we need to improve that defence greatly also Joan Garcia is one of the best signings we did in the 2nd Laporta presidency.
