There are more high quality players coming out of English acadamies than Spanish ones across the board.

I was referring to the culture and their attitude towards sports. Seem to have right mix of level-headedness and passion to make things happen and achieve goals.

There is that but also due to state of La Liga quality beating likes of Alaves with that kind of performance does leave it a bit flat.

But flip side is could be worse and failing to win as happened around this time last year.

Would guess it is part of reason Flick felt a bit like a lot of fans did after the game.. 3 points but still look a long way off it and could easily have lost points in that game.

It does look a bit flat, but all is counted. Titles don't have to covered in shiny football to still be very valuable.

Of course it is valuable but can see why some Barca fans still feel a bit like team not playing well... and would guess Flick is feeling it also.

There is not all that much joy that comes from beating the likes of Alaves while not playing well.

Of course, but everyone is gonna have to live with it. And celebrate at the end the cups if not the performances.

Let's not implode because things aren't perfect and carry this season over the line with a big reward. Don't hand this to Madrid by being over emotional.

Dont celebrate wins like Alaves too much..keep trying to fix the things that are wrong and onto next game.

It is worse after the Chelsea game also as will still be on mind of Flick and fans.

If Barca beat Chelsea there would be better mood even if not great v Alaves as could fee like a drop from higher level.

They beat Ateltico and most all of last week forgotten and looking forward again.
