My favourite day of the year. Hate the 4:15 kickoff.

No Lewa so Rashford probably spearpoints the assault. Raphinha missed training few days ago but hopefully he's ready. Kounde and Casado need to step up. No Flick also.

Alaba will be a big miss for Real Madrid. Trent also returning, along with Huijsen, Ceballos and Carvajal but those 3 will probably be on bench. No Rudiger. Real probably plays 4-2-3-1 and Barca 4-3-3.

Pedri will crush the midfield battle most likely. Voted for a 1-1 draw with Rashford and Vini scoring.

Sadly, as always, on all forums there's already talk about referees helping either team. I can understand after the fact but before it even started?

Hopefully the best team gets 3 points.

1-1 come on

I don't believe we are either conceding or scoring that little

I can see an absolute shitshow, battering on either side or some madness score like 4-4, 5-4, 5-5

No amount of rambling gonna change either stance - that's my motto.

Was just trying to get a fair assement of my favourite day in football.

It doesn't really matter about how real Madrid play because the way our defense is at the moment - all you need to do is hoof the ball and mbappe is through on goal (and doesn't miss in this form).

We can control midfield, possession..none of it matters if we gift the fastest striker in the world exactly what he wants. Three easy balls and he game is done.

Flick hasn't shown any indication of changing that line and so I predict 4-2 Madrid. I think the players can outplay Madrid midfield on but I'm not optimistic about our tactics plus horrendous performances of the defenders

Madrid looked very unimpressive vs. a very poor Juve side who only has 2 points after three rounds in CL and is currently only 7th in seria A standings.

If we play our best current football it should be enough but please no more injuries and no more brain farts.

Meh. They had to play for 2-3 weeks more this summer while Barca players chilled. Somehow we return knackered and they look fresh.

Either way, plenty of time till Sunday.
It is definately weird how tired some of the players look. Hopefully it's just an after-effect from training hard in the summer and that training actually pays off later in the season. I've seen it in hockey where a team who trained hardest in summer looked slow and tired for the first couple of months until the offseason training paid off in playoffs 6 months later while other teams became fatigued as hell.

Just gotta hope we didn't actually overtrain and players' muscles became overloaded because that will be a recipe for a disaster.

For some reason I predict one or two red cards in this match for us. Defense is too slow to catch up to Mbappe and Vinicius. The refs will be "trigger happy" to hand them out like candy and ensure an RM advantage.
