It's okay, I expected worse to be honest. This result and game isn't flattering for Alonso, it looked like Ancelotti 2.0. Playing with 6 players backline, defending 2-1 at home like Getafe against the weakest Barca under Flick with half the team injured, or half fit.

The most important part for Flick is to get the team back on its feet, physically. Injuries must end, players must get fit again. Everything else is secondary. The most unimportant clasico of the season, all other will be much more important. Flick has roughly 2 months to get the team healthy and back in form.

Exactly. Madrid had all the advantages. They got this one but season is long

Intensity was embarrassing. No ideas when we have he ball everyone standing around. Minute 88 and everyone walking except frenkie.

Lamine absolutely horrendous performance, embarrassing even.

Rashford, Tek, Araujo, De Jong solid games.

Everyone else ranging from bad to trash. Flick gets 0.

Cubarsi, Martin, Balde, Casado, Fermin, Torres, Garcia - solid subs at best for a top-level Barca. Nowhere near good enough to be starters for a CL contender.

2-1 really isn't that bad. RM played towards the top of their game. We played towards the bottom. Even though overall our level is much lower than last season.

Pedri is terrible today. He was in love with the ball. Same with Frenkie. They love passing and running around as long as it is safe. Never dangerous. Never going to shoot.

Yamal is probably entering his sophomore slump. He will pretty much be bad all year as the clubs have learned how to stop him. He needs to develop more ways to be dangerous. His touch was great just too passive.

Defense let us down but in the 2nd half honestly we shut them down. Half of it was because they just parked the bus. Eric Garcia is a bum and always will be at CB. Play him at DM or RB.

Kounde sold the game like always. He can't score on a high ball 1v1 ever.

Tek was player of the game. Easily.

Fermin scored and did nothing but blow chances afterwards instead of looking at the free man

Should have been a 5-1 hammering but lucky to not concede more.

Men against boys out there today and Madrid played conservatively.

This is a good take

Imagine what our team would look like if we had someone like Mbappe or Haaland as a striker who doesn't immediately shit their pants in 1vs1 and fall to the ground when touched just slightly. Also making some runs into box would help instead of just standing still.
