What are we talking about? The ‘Circle of Parity’ in a competition is a chain in which one team wins against another, and so on, until a circle is completed in which all teams are connected in a closed cycle of direct victories. It is calculated using graph theory methodology and serves to measure the actual parity of a competition.

There are two levels at which LaLiga's 'Cycle of Parity' stands out this season. Firstly, it was achieved after the eleventh matchday, earlier than ever before in the last ten seasons. The closest it came was on the twelfth matchday in 2015-16 and on the thirteenth in 2018-19 and 2023-24. Secondly, it is the only one of the top five European leagues to have achieved it. To reach this 'Cycle of Parity', there are two fundamental conditions: that all teams have won at least one match and lost another. In Serie A and the Premier League, the first condition is not met – Hellas Verona, Fiorentina, and Wolverhampton have yet to win – and in the Bundesliga, the second condition is not met – Bayern Munich have yet to lose.

Javier Tebas: “Illegal streaming is stealing, and stealing is already prohibited in Moses’ seventh commandment in Bible. You don’t need complex laws to understand that. If we want a world where everything is free, then maybe we should live somewhere else — North Korea or wherever. I’m sure that if piracy disappeared, watching football would become much cheaper.”

Remember guys, if you watch streams, you insult Moses and should live in North Korea!

The Court of Arbitration for Sport has opened an investigation into La Liga President Javier Tebas for allegedly disclosing confidential information regarding Barcelona's finances. This action could have consequences for Tebas, ranging from a public reprimand to a temporary suspension ranging from two months to one year, or even dismissal from his position. The complaint was filed by Miguel Ángel Galán, president of the Association for Transparency and Democracy in Sport. The Spanish National Sports Council, which studied Galán's complaint for several months, determined that the disclosure of Barcelona's financial data in a statement [which was later removed from the website] constituted a potentially very serious infraction. Thankfully Moses didn't write anything about disclosing confidential information in his commandments, so Tebas is safe here.
