He made another huge gaff on, I think it was around the 15 minutes.

Went to head the long ball where a Madrid player already was standing and completely missed it.

Villarreal guy would have been through in goal if he let the ball run instead of trying to control it.

His silky aesthetic of ball playing is allowing Madrid media/fans to overlook a ton of errors. But I guess you kind of have to do that with these kind of players and let experience beat it out of their system. Or hope to.

OTOH, plenty of Madrid fans were absolutely pissed that they didn't get another CB.

And the club is already planning for it with Konate.

So, at least they aren't living in denial, and even when it comes to Hujsen, it is always love with new young toys in any club.

Konate is just a long term replacement for one of there 3 aging CBs, I doubt they are anyone is in denial about father time tbh. Good succession planning

No related to Dean in anyway.

Konate also making a ton of mistakes

I think Perez strategy is to go big on free agents, even if he has to sign no one and wait a year to come to fruition.

I have no evidence of this, but judging by their FFP, he has a way of not counting the signing on bonus as part of the direct FFP expense towards the cap.

Him and Samu might turn to the next expensive no9 next season, albeit most big clubs already sorting that position already.

Imo, yes. He has looked better every game and surprised me from his first game.

Cadiz president is livid about the deal btw. They suspect shenanigans to get rid of their % and that Villarreal will bring him back next summer.

So I don't know if big clubs will be in for him.
