Atletico has two complete idiots at CB. Idk why they keep spending on attackers

Le Normand is the personification of what Atletico currently is. Only good on the ball, and there he can fuck up too. Dumb like brick, room temperature iq.

And Lenglet never really fails to amaze. Imagine covering your head with hands so the ball doesnt hit you during a corner. Like the entire purpose of taking corners is not for the ball to hit you

They seem better at creating chances but still a very low iq team with an old fashioned coach who spends money on likes of Raspadori and Gonzalez

I still think Madrid wins this but they look utter shite as well. First lets say serious opponent and they look entirely different. But Atletico just too many idiots to believe they can endure for 45 mins verse likes of Mbappe

It doesn't work like that in a league unfortunately..

Top attackers can cook Madrid's defense maybe, but that will not happen in 95% of LL games, plus whatever slipups occur can be mitigated by MAdrid's attack cooking absolutely fodder LL defences
We can definitely cook the lesser teams too

AM are a good team with great spirit, but they have Lenglet as starter? Seriously? Is he a starter for them normally or just have injuries in CB?

As I said, I would be shocked if Barca doesn't win the league this season
Dude be serious

Ofc we should aim to win but we do have serious opposition in Madrid

This is their first meh performance in league so far and they will probably take the 3 points at FT

There's a reason why this is their first meh performance this season.

Look at the midfield.

of course we can. Question is if we will.

Last season we dropped too many points until January, and got saved by Madrid dropping themselves and being unable to sustain their lead in the table.

Can't see the same under Alonso. We have to be ruthless vs lesser teams

We have better squad depth this season, so don't anticipate to face the same situation back in winter 2024.

This is like their 3rd or 4th meh performance.

Have you been watching the games?

even Mcmanaman said they've been the Liverpool of la Liga this season just now, getting the job done without actually looking decent

If Xabi does not make changes, its wide open. Atletico lives for 150% against Madrid. Watch them lose against Girona in short notice. Lolz.

Anybody can drop points in the league. There are some difficult games especially away. We just dropped points in our first tricky away game to Rayo.
