And for the Villarreal fans to not turn up for their side.

It's a joke that their marquee match is moved overseas, and I'm shocked they have hardly protested.

La Liga have not shown footage of the first 25 seconds of the game between Real Oviedo and Espanyol. It is rumoured that all of La Liga teams' captains have decided to not play any football in the first 15-30 seconds of the games this weekend as a protest for the Villarreal - FC Barcelona game being held in Miami.

Ah yes, the typical censorship for something that isn't to your liking. Why doesn't it surprise me, that LaLiga behaves like a dictatorship under Franco Tebas. The players are clearly in a stronger position here, they should prolong the non-playing part then until they are forced to show the protest. Disgraceful.

LaLiga does it for PR. If it turns around into a PR disaster, they will cancel it. But the ball is in the player's hands, they need to push further. We're sadly excused from this today.

La liga does it for money, as long as it is more profitable for them they will do it.

I think it was @Porque who suggested that Villarreal fans should be boycotting their team as a protest to the move. That would actually send a message. Players protest is a good gesture, but nothing else.
