How is that a penalty?

Very fishy stuff going on in LaLiga. If you watched Villarreal-Leganes last week, there were 2 much clearer penalties not given to Leganes, and then Villarreal got a soft one.

Then this one is extremely soft.

And then there's the Madrid LaLiga and Copa games.

Definitely manipulations all season against them for whatever reason.

Do you think Bookies have a hand in this?

The entire VAR process in general been "inconsistent" for different teams this season.

This one was a very soft one.

I don't know.

Leganes are a tiny team with low financial impact to the league.

I can see why Espanyol would be favoured to stay up for example.

I can't see why VIllarreal would be favoured for Champions League over Real Betis though. But Betis had it in their own hands and blew it.

What I get the feeling of though is that the Negreia payments. Every one was in on it, paying something to someone. This is the league that has the famous briefcase exchanges on the final days with teams rewarding overs to win. And they actually marketed this through commentary. So if you openly market paying someone else to win, then you are opening a can of worms.

Would be very Espanyol-esque to concede in the final minutes and go down anyway.
Although Las Palmas need to stop playing like pussies first.

Institutionally, I don't see any point in favoritism to one or the other.

But for the Bookies, this type of games are prime money maker. Maybe corruption?

Anyways looks like the match is over.
