Real Betis boosted their hopes of European qualification in a 3-1 win over Athletic Club in a game which featured a bizarre referee injury.

The hosts secured three points at the Estadio Benito Villamarin with Chimy Avila opening the scoring in Andalucia with his first goal for the club.

However, his goal required a VAR assessment at pitch side, with assistant referee Guadalupe Porras making the check.

After validating the goal, Porras accidentally collided with a television camera, and was eventually forced to withdraw from the game.

Porras was treated for a head injury by the Real Betis medical staff, with blood pouring from a cut to her face, and fourth official Holgueras Castellanos eventually replaced her.

The injured official was forced to leave the pitch on a stretcher, as a precaution, and was later taken to hospital for tests.

He can walk around in path of the cross no problem, Ramos job to make sure he doesnt pay attention to an offside player, perfectly normal stuff
Ur wrong.. if u interfere with the action (willingly or unwillingly ) u are a participator.. seen hundreds of cases where an offside was called on interferences with players not showing interest in the participation.

Absolutely not
Participating would mean actually impeding players from doing something or actively engaging in the move. He's making a run and then being passive as should when knows its not gone his way and is off. Not his problem Ramos tracks. Correct call

Worry about your own case, we don't even have one against us.

Also, i remember going like 8 seasons or so without a penalty at Nou Camp, so there is that.
Have no case doesnt mean not guilty. You buy the judges as well.

Barca did not need the ref to win poorly with one goal. Losing time against big Leipzig. Big robbery against Almeria (very obvious).

This club is small finally besides huge trophy list.

Why do you all even get upset anymore. It's clear already from the first half of the season, that Laliga pushes Madrid to win for good propaganda. They can't allow Negreira Barca with a destroyed stadium represent LaLiga this season. They need the whites with a brand new stadium and also Mbappe is coming, that means world wide publicity.
