Atletico MUST beat Alaves so then if we win/draw against Deportivo, next week RM will make Guard of Honour at Camp Nou! But if Atletico lose/draw against Alaves in Sunday afternoon, then we become champions and in the evening (Sunday) Deportivo will make Guard of Honour. So it's important Atletico to beat Alaves !

Levante with a 2-1 win against Sevilla to get to 40 points. Deportivo has 28 points with 4 games left. Teams have drawn both head to head games this season but Levante has much better goal difference (-16 against -33) so they are already safe.


Paco Lopez has won the same points in 8 games with Levante than Montella in 17 games with Sevilla.

We didn't make GOH after they won Club World Cup, and our coach flat out said that he doesn't want them to do it for us if things turned around (which is happening) because it has lost its meaning after media took it out of context, that back in the day it was about showing respect to the champions but now it is about humiliating the opponent
Won't blame them for a second if they didn't do it, and totally agree with both Valverde and Zidane perspective

It's been said many times, a GOH for a CWC is not a tradition. We haven't got one every time.

For the league winners however it is a tradition. It's a lame excuse by Zidane to use the CWC.

Would be better if he was honest and admitted he didn't want to give one because it's Barca and he's a sore loser.

I know that CWC isn't a tradition, but both what EV and Zidane said doesn't contradict that and doesn't make them the villain
