If he do that, chances are we will lose just by not fielding a strong enough team.

I wouldn't say miles better. Atletico is better team this year in LaLiga. They struggled earlier in the year scoring goals but they are doing fine now.

Don't care about the Madrid derby. If Madrid lose then they lose some momentum that has been building for some weeks, if they win we build an even bigger lead from Atletico. We're 12 points ahead of Atletico, don't see why Madrid would lose on purpose, the lead we have is huge as it is, even if Atletico win (9 points + h2h).
