Kylian Mbappé

That's because of the result. Not the performance.

The game was decided on pens.

You could argue Dibu was the real MVP.
If we're talking of just performance, then Messi definitely takes the cake.

Dibu had probably the most important save in World Cup history, but DIbu was not the MVP of that match. He was Top 3 for sure.

I know this troll very well. @Horatio will agree, here is his game plan:

1) Point out how Mbappe is this underrated clutch player, knowing he will have the WC final hat-trick to reference over and over

2) Use that reference to seethe about Messi and how Mbappe "outplayed" him (and even Dibu outplayed Messi)

Messi played well for 120 minutes.
Mbappe was anonymous in the first 80 minutes and was better than him?

Sometimes your posts read like you don't even watch many football matches. You just parrot out stuff from degen kids on X or Reddit.

Yet you're the retard who's dancing about he ALWAYS decides big games
Not my fault if you're too dumb to comprehend a simple comment.

I said him scoring against the big teams has always been the case. Every year in his career he has had goals against big teams. That doesn't mean he has scored in EVERY single big game he has ever played in his life. There's a difference.

Nobody has ever done that.

All Argentina players played extremely well. Especially in the first half. They were scoring sexy team goals in a WC final FFS.

Mbappe had no help for 80 odd minutes.

Sure. But it's not easy. Look at Vini's numbers this season.

Getting 40 goals in a season is extremely difficult.
Of course 40 goals in a season is great number, by any mean. Doesn't change the fact that he joined a strong team.

His shit season was mostly talked only in beginning of the season. No one say he is shite after.

Still RM went from Liga and UCL to empty hand.

It is a very strong team. But it's also dysfunctional in terms of system, style of play and balance. That's why world class players like Vini couldn't get good numbers.
