LOL.

You know he will not go to Liverpool.

You buy players from Porto, Roma, Benfica, Leipzig...
Is that supposed to be a dig at Liverpool?

Coz that is exactly what smart clubs do. Big clubs mostly sell you players that are washed up or on a downward trajectory.

Porto, Roma, Benfica, Leipzig are exactly the kind of clubs you should buy players from.

That's why Edwards is the best ever at his job.

I know the source is shit but could really see this in the future. I think him and Isak are most suited for our new long term 9, he knows the league, the club is following him for years, he plays for a club that could sell him to us, he would fit very well with Yamal just as he does with Messi. He would cost 100+ but I think it's worth it in todays market with very little top 9s avaliable. The only problem is his height but he has other qualities. I think he would still cost less than Isak would.

He'll never get Haaland or Mbappe numbers. He just isn't that kind of a player.

If you want goals and numbers, Haaland 2026 is the way to go. Also a bigger name.

Haaland is not a big game player and his technical limitation is too much for a Barca striker imo.

Atletico signed him for nearly 90m with add-ons included. He doesn't have a reasonable buyout clause. Contract until 2030.

They will either refuse to sell him to ask us to pay a ridiculous price like 150m and probably more.

No chance of signing him.

I'd throw Laporta off a bridge if he spends 150m on a player unless it's a once in a generation type of player.

Simeone turns even the biggest winners into losers.

I've read Laporta wants him as the 9 next summer, it would be hella expensive, but if possible why not.

Return to his winning ways

Why didn't he want him while he was playing in Argentina instead of mighty Roque? Or at least while he was proving himself at City?

Now it's way too late and it's very unlikely ATM will let him go to Barca for a decent amount of money.

You're welcome
Maybe bias is at play, and haven’t seen most of his playing time this season, but isn’t he one of the best finishers in the game?

Or has it gone south?

I wouldn't pay 150m for him. Even though the market for strikers is dry right now.

I think so

Also the most direct striker. Remember Real in UCL. He makes a position for himself and shoot. No complications, no overthinking. He is a very special player
