Yes Pep is a better manager than Ferguson ever was.

And indeed, Cruyff's brilliance isn't in what he won, but how he thought about the game and his thinking. Which runs through FC Barcelona to this day.

Crujif himself is Rinus Michels student, a loyal one if anything. Rinus is the true GOAT of coach tbh, Crujif, Pep, La Masia, Ajax etc, were all products of his ideas. There is a reason he was voted as greatest manager of the 20th century.

If you want to go to the roots, then it is Rinus legacy not Crujif.

And Pep is a student of several coaches. A guy like Van Gaal had ton of those who have learned from him, including Pep, Mourinho, Lucho etc
