He is not ashamed of being clowned by such idiotic statements

Could be sheer stupidity. Deco himself isn't sharpest tool in the box either. Yapping about Nico or whatever as done deal or making a list of Barca players per age that he got totally incorrect.

Font guy seems even worse so it's kinda amusing to see them making clowns of themselves.

Hope some 3rd party emerges in 5 years.

There is no 3rd party.
It could be Pique, which would be like Barto-Rossel reincarnated, much worse than liar fatty

Font is the best option to modernize the club. Someone else to take it from there is a few year's time

Who would you rather have dinner with, Víctor Font or Florentino Pérez?

❗️ Joan Laporta: "Florentino Pérez... I have no problem having dinner with anyone, as long as they are a civilized person and we can talk about everything."

"Since I like arguing, it would probably be more exciting with Florentino, we'd disagree a little and it would be more fun."

Ofc he'll respect a worthy rival more than a useless one

Flick is the only reason he wins. Poor German must have severe pains with how much the Fatman is riding him.
This is an oversimplification. Flick is one, if not the biggest reason, true. But there are several others.

1. Financial situation:

Since Laporta took over, the finances improved considerably. Yes, we're still under ffp restrictions, but the club was practically dead with big short-term debts and a negative operating balance. Under Laporta the club for the first time since many years started to actually make more money than it spends, meaning it's back to a healthy structure again. Especially thanks to the massively reduced players wages.

2. Nou Camp Nou

Others talked for a decade, he actually started the most exciting project for Barca since I don't know how many decades.

3. Multi-sport club

People may not believe it, but there are thousands of socis, who don't care about men football and Flick. They care for their own sports like basketball, women's football, Futsal, roller-hockey, handball. And under Laporta, Barca remains the most successful multi-sport club in the world, fighting and winning titles in every section.

Socis appreciate all of that too.

1. The finances had to improve and anyone coming in had to improve them. There was no option. There is nothing amazing about putting club in record debt and pulling levers to do it. The salaries had to reduce.. league rules ensure that also. Barca are still paying some of highest salaries.

2. Camp Nou.. was never going to be rebuilt with peak Messi and Laporta himself did nothing about it in first terms. Previous boards stadium plans with future boards income. Again nothing amazing.

3. Multi sport always been there and basketball has declined and funding decreased. The womens team being successful is not the work of Laporta. Barca were ahead of curve and investing on that before he came in and had put in place structure for it to thrive.

Socis would demand his head if results under Flick were missing.
Just like they did in spring 2024.
Stadium delay after delay and lies
As is with 1:1.

Successful groveling to Nasser and Uefa + superagents though.

Cattle.
