Joan Laporta

Yea like I was saying he was shooting at Perez "supporting" what Laporta was doing in this case.
So in other words, he's mad at Perez for not pressuring an impartial court against Barca and sees no problem in publicly speak out. They don't even try to hide how corrupt to the bone this league is. It's so absurd that this is tolerated in Spain. But then again we're talking about a country, where it's former King fled to Abu Dhabi because of corruption.

If the rumors about the price he is willing to sell Araujo for are true...

and after the smear campaign he started against one of the most dedicated players that bleed Baurgrana...

.... he should be removed from office ASAP

Do these teams have the insight of all documents to this case and they let them check by their lawyers to make a statement, or do they just attach themselves to the public mob?
Good point, and this merely reemphasizes just how biased the rest of Spain is against Catalunya and its institutions. Heck, not even that long ago, the leader of the Catalonian independence movement was arrested in absentia and forced to flea the country in order to avoid political persecution.

Spain is not a democracy and it’s highly corrupt. This shouldn’t fly over anyone’s head.

I think what @Windhook has said is correct , the wording of the verdict don't just talk about registering Olmo, but about the entire system and how it is against players right.

If we win in April, and the same verdict continue, this means current La Liga FFP can be thrown by coart, and not necessarily by Barcelona, but players who might drag it as they will deem themselves victim of the system that prevents them from getting better contracts.

This is probably a reason why Liga clubs are scared now, as I said plenty of times, most Liga clubs actually want the system as it is and they love it. They love the excuses of the tough rules to be cheap.

0 chance of any court to rule against FFP in general on that rationale...

The only legal chance we have is argue that we complied with FFP after the sale of the VIP seats, and that somehow (that would be hard) failing to meet the 31st of Dec. deadline did not violate the spirit of the law

What a bunch of corrupt sore losers LaLiga is. What do they want to appeal anyways, since there is no verdict in the first place. The CSD simply allowed the registration during the period this case will be discussed. What do they want to appeal? The discussion of the case or the innocent until guilty guideline?
I know Tebas with his Franco youth history probably wishes the good old times back with guilty until proven innocent, but he lives in the wrong century for it.

And he should also know LaLiga becoming the laughing stock in the football world with this theater, no other league has to deal with. This clown took over the best league in the world and managed to lead it into a constant descent. And if it's not enough that half of European leagues are financially speaking better positioned, now LaLiga under his leadership starts to tear itself apart from the inside.

I understand that the other teams are angry that they have to deal with every shit Tebas is forcing them on, while Laporta finds loopholes. But the problem is not Laporta, who is looking out for his own club, but the idiots who set up these rules. As always in such cases, their anger is misdirected.

Zero fucks given about the opinion of other clubs.

In a couple of years FFP 1:1 will be history for Barca. But still reality for the rest of the 30+ clubs that are in LL and LL2. Actually FFP will work in our favor, blocking lunatics like Barto from overspending.

I bet Valencia are going down this season. Already replaced the manager and the results are same. Forget transfers, when a club can afford 10m not to go under FFP. On top of that they resumed the construction of the new stadium that began in 2007, but that is I assume mostly due to CVC money received last summer. CVC is 70% money for infrastucure, 15% for debts, 15% for salaries.

In short - besides Barca, Valencia are a good example of FFP decline of a club. Sevilla will follow soon as well.

Ultimately La Liga will end with minor clubs competing in top 15 of La Liga, while Valencia, Espanyol, Celta, Deportivo La Coruna will fight for promotion/relegation. The competitiveness of those clubs made La Liga one of the most popular leagues at the dawn of this century.
