Not bad handling the ball in that kind of shit pitch and at his height.
Yeah, some heavy touches - but overall expression looks really good on the highlights. Or midfield, CB's and for that sake RB with two pretty decent options, looks really great. We have so much young talent, its crazy actually. And maybe even de ligt. If we do it right with our next number 9, our future is pretty much secured.

Why sign a centre back and then proceed to play him as a midfielder in his first ever appearance? Deer. Headlights...

God forbid the dude who sees him in training on a daily basis tests him out in midfield (where apparently he’s played before) for 45 mins in a damned training match.

God forbid I voice a minor and pertinent dissatisfaction on a message board. Your points are valid but with that line of thinking, there's no point in discussing anything here since Valverde and his staff are the only ones who really know what's going on with the players.
I'm aware Valverde pointed out the fact Todibo had played in midfield for France's youth set ups - but he was signed as a centre-back, was reported to have been impressing in training as a centre-back and I personally wished we got to see him at centre-back. That's all.

It was worth giving him a shot at DM since it was just a friendly.
You could tell straight away he was a former Midfielder even though he isn't used to the style of what we played at times he wanted to rush the pass or was a tick slow at what to do with it and his first touch was inconsistent.
But at CB in Second Half he found his groove quickly. Had a couple of good long balls and used his body very well to defend and shield the ball. Seems premature after one friendly but I think we have something here to work with.

Genuinely can't tell if you're serious. Substitute "Todibo" for "Prince" and it'd basically be your usual hype post. Do you actually think he has a future, or are you just being the hype man?
