To be effective at 37 you need to have a great mentality and great technique and he has both in abundance. Some of the goals he has scored in the past few years have been of absolute outrageous quality.

Could have the same sort of effect as his teammate Luuk did.

I'm all for it, given the shitty options that will cost big money. The guy can play anywhere.

I am all for not wasting money on the LW. We need a backup. Its also a good indication that our board is thinking the same if we are linked with him.
But when you have a whole slew of players like Lookman, Ben Seghir, Rashford on loan, etc. Why bet on a 37-year-old?
Even though if he is hard working, he is still on old legs.
Come March 2026 when games comes thick and fast, I have no confidence that he would be able to give 100% at that moment. Same happened for Lewa this season, and it will happen again next.

I am happy to be wrong. But would be much happier if we went with Rashford or Lookman.

He won't affect ffp because he will earn peanuts, and will come free.

I think Hansi has realized the squad upfront is flimsy and we need depth signings.

He has a great cross and can use both left and right.

He can sub in for Balde and Kounde possibly as well if they are having poor game.

He would be an excellent addition to the squad. Yes, an aging player but still fit and determined. Similar to Lewandowski in that regard. Except that Perisic is technically superior and much more of a warrior-type. For free, would be an excellent impact sub at the very least.
