The famed MSN trio has 2 undisputed legends in Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. As they both make the top 5 in the highest goal scorers the club has ever seen. But there’s Neymar, who joined and left the club in the most dubious circumstances, now the question is, is Neymar a Barcelona legend?

Today we will visit the case for this legendhood and the case against it.

HIS CASE -

- Helped Barcelona win the treble.
- Carried Barcelona in late 2015 when Messi was injured.
- Played beautiful football most of the time.
- Inspired the greatest comeback in the history of sport.

THE CASE AGAINST HIM -

- Left the club late in the transfer window, leaving them panicking to replace him just to cash in a loyalty clause.
- Was not that consistent in big games.
- Missed lots of big chances.
- Had a somewhat underwhelming last season.

Now we have looked through the cases with and against him, the answer is yet to be known, what do you think on this matter?????

No but i think he came in a wrong period. From 4 seasons when he was here only in 14/15 our midfield was really worldclass. In 15/16 and 16/17 the plan was give MSN the ball and hope they will score. I dont blame LE as Iniesta was old, Raki declined and players like Andre Gomes was trash.

If he would have played in Pep era or now under Hansi there is no doubt he end as a barca legend here as long as he doesnt think too much about money.

Not bitter anymore about him leaving and I was a fan of his qualities from the get-go. So saying this as someone who holds Neymar in fond memory: Not exactly a Barca legend. But damn close.

Having said that, many consider Romario or Laudrup as Barca legends and they have a case so whothefuck knows.

Nope. Romario, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho I held in higher regard, even the fact some of them spent less time than Ney at the club.

The reason is basic - they didn't treat the club as stepping stone. Could argue about Ronaldo, but his prime was Barca and Inter before the injuries.

Ronaldo left the club due to his greedy agents.

This reason alone is already enough for me not to consider him a Barca legend. There needs to be at least a small amount of pride not to consider players legends, who shat on the club only to grab a bit more money for themselves.

A legend of a club does not leave said club for more money or a better career perspective when he is already at a tier S club.

Hope Barca's fan base isn't like United's worshipping Cristiano whose prime years and best times only really started after leaving them for a bigger club.

Sergi Roberto owns his ass in his best ever performance in a Barcelona shirt. That says it all.

Neymar is as legendary in Barcelona as a bear doing the world's biggest shit in the woods. Sure, he broke a world record, but its still a shit.
