Could swap out whole front four and go Rashford Ferran and Roony with Olmo behind that.

If cant beat likes of Sevilla with those players be as well not having them.

League absolutely does not take priority in team selection at weekend.

Would be lunacy for Flick to think like that.

The key right now is when Frenkie, Balde & Kounde come back that we calm down a little with the injuries

We can only hope that will be the case

Because the depth of this team is shit and even the good players can't find any rhythm and struggle with form
We can't afford having our starters out vs Arsenal in semis

Rashford - Tuna - Roony vs Sevilla. Yamal shouldn’t see 1 minute on the pitch.

I’d rather Xavi Espart RB, kid looked ok for the last 5 minutes he was on the pitch. Eric in mf with Olmo or something. Pedri also shouldn’t play more than 10-15 minutes at most.

Watch Flick start with Yamal and Pedri tho.

Rest as many as can v Sevilla and take that 'risk' as far as can.

Try to gain as big and advantage as can over Newcastles much tougher schedule.

Newcastle will arrive to Barcelona next week having played Man City, Chelsea and Barca within previous 10/11 days.

Barca could get there with more rest to players than they do and home advantage.

Newcastle can throw away the game vs Chelsea too tbf. A bit too far from the european spots to really push too much. Much better chance to nick a win vs Barca.

Why the fuck did he keep Lewa on for 70 mins??? Did he forget subs were a thing? The guy was straight up invisible, losing all duels, offering nothing. Playing with 10 men for 70mins vs this kind of intensity is crazy stuff.
To me Flick seems sometime is loosing his mind like in your example…Not sure why we should STILL start this polish wrongly called striker?…

They are 'only' 9 points off 5th which would be enough for CL and Chelsea currently 5th.

Unlikely they will do it but would be surprised if they chuck the towel in that easily and add to their poor run of form with such little fight.

They do that and still lose to Barca it wouldnt go down well.

Yeah, but they need to win massive in the run in while the likes of Chelsea or Liverpool have to lose. Unlikely to catch up imo.

Maybe europa league/conference still in play. We’ll see at the weekend.

As said it us unlikely but would be surprised if gave up on it that easily.

Also they sure as fuck wont want Sunderland finishing above them either.

It's not outwith the realm of possibility that Sunderland will. Both teams drop points often so they'll likely finish on a similar number (though I haven't looked at the fixtures).

In fact Sunderland have 7 points from the last 18 and Newcastle only have 6.

Terrible match but a draw away is not bad at all, will easily settle the tie at Camp Nou.

Though if he doesn't make tweaks soon, i think this year UCL run will be end sooner.
