I explained it already: Raphina sucked under Xavi for 2 years.
Coach's fault of course, but that sets apart WC from merely top players

Isak killed it at all levels he played so far.
If he does it again at Pool, he is certified WC

Yea raphinha sucked in winning us directly 15 points in the title winning season

22 Goal contributions in 50 games, league title.

Season after that he was our best player
23 Goal contributions in 37 games.

You are literally the only person on the face of the planet who would say raphinha isn't currently WC, but I just wanted to understand your thought process to come to that point because I figured it would be found wanting, so said, so done.

Olise and isak are world class for 1 season of WC football and a few good seasons before that but raphinha isn't, come on birdy you can't make it that easy.

Plus all of these:

Arsenal: Timber and Calafiori
Madrid: Trent and Carreras
Bayern: Laimer and Davies

Even Spurs have Porro/Udogie. Not sure Kounde/Balde is better

The only two top teams that have problems in FBs are currently Liverpool (Frimpong/Kerkez) and City (kids like O Rially and Rico Lewis play)
Laimer and Davis FB combo is very underrated, only because not many people pay attention to Bundesliga. I think they are easily better than Balde-Kounde too, but that still doesn't take away the fact that is very important in modern football: Availability.

Availability is just as important as your skills. You have to be some historical level talent f you're barely playing 60-70 % of the matches for your club.

Consider the midfield 3 like a triple pivot of sorts, rotating positions like PSG do with Neves- Pedri and Vitinha.

I am advocating killing the #10 position and tru #9 position because we got bums in there. I think it better we shore up our midfield solidity

PSG played 3-2-5 against Lille today but they also drew.

There is a time when the players and the coach need to have a look at themselves. And that time is today.

PSG and Sevilla were wake-up calls. Especially Sevilla. Sort it out, you have some time now.

True

Which makes it even worse for Kounde-Balde starting FB pair, since at least Balde is not available half of the time

Raphina sucked under Xavi despite any goal contribution. He looked like a lost child out on the touchline, unable to dribble, unable to do what the braindead Xavi thought he could
Everyone remembers, everyone impartial will confirm
Stop trying to push narratives and agendas.
Only Flick found how to unlock Raphina's potential

Then again, I know you don't give a shit or watch any minute of football outside the very big clubs.
Yet, Olise and Isak were already evident that they are WC in the making when they were playing at Palace and Sociedad respectively. That made bigger clubs fork out the likes of 60 and 70m to get them.

That's called shrewd transfer policy, that's called anticipation and being in advance of the curve.
That's called having proper SD and Sdepartments
What we don't have under the fat bozo

What has Carreras done to be considered better than balde? 😂

2 times league winner balde, who played a important role in both those titles.

Same for calafiori

Spurs have better FB yea okay 😂😂.

Birdie you can't just be saying things to fit your opinions dude.

Carreras is not better than Balde, but the pair Trent-Carreras might be better than the pair Kounde-Balde

You also have to take into account availability (See above)
We are not really Kounde-Balde at FB, but more like Kounde-half Balde half Martin

Okay birdy on a island, raphinha sucked and isn't world class, smh.

Weighed and found wanting as tends to be the case.

Carreras who birdy has not seeing more than the benfica game against us, is better than balde 😂😂

Don't lie either, you said you saw max 6 of dembele last season.

This kid smh

I thought that would be after PSG but sadly it wasn't. I don't think this is our season. Let's just hope they give it their all vs RM or it could get ugly

Don't mind Birdy . Raphinha was instrumental in 2022-23.

The exact same line he uses for olsie, showed good potential for a big club to buy him, then he became WC at bayern

Is literally raphinha, except raphinha did 3 very good seasons before his WC season.

1 at Leeds, 2 at Barca

Early for that. We bounced back from worse. Even if we don't win anything, not the end of the world. But sooner or later we need to show improvement.

We have regressed compared to 2nd part of last season. Almost every away game in the league has been some kind of struggle. Something has to change, and fast. Performances have been rather poor vs all of Levante, Rayo, Oviedo. Sevilla was just the team that on the day found the means to punish us in full.

Ya gotta disagree with Birdy, Raphinha is a wonderful player that we really lucked out on (so rare with our low IQ board). He is key for Brazil NT too now, Ancelotti knows best.
