Yeah, imo if we won't get a CL under his command, we won't any time soon get one.

That's why I think it's so crucial to strenghten defense for this CL campaign and along with some luck maybe we can finally win another CL after 11 years of failing.

I was expecting him to change the whole squad during half time, like he did for other pre season games.

Como is a better team than those, would have liked to see how the others fared agisnt them. Sad

We need usual starters still working towards full match fitness which is just around the corner.

Extra 30 minutes won't make them any more match fit nor do you want your players fully watch fit for match day 1.

First 2-4 games if the season is still a mini or season.

He just sucks at squad utilization.

CL winning professional coach supported by highly paid staff of doctors, physiotherapists and nutritionists doesn't know about fitness and fatigue more than random Internet Joe who obviously knows better how to manage minutes of pro athletes. Sure.

Yea last season would suggest other wise lol

What exactly suggests otherwise? Conceding in the 1st minute against Inter? Playing a high-line with a lead and 3 minutes to go? Conceding in the 5th minute against Madrid? Outclassing and outpressing Madrid in May right after 120 minutes at San Siro while Madrid had rest? 21 year old Balde getting injured after less than 2000 minutes due to "fatigue" while Pedri had almost 1000 minutes more and stayed healthy?

Curious to know how you concluded that the team was overly fatigued. I might have missed something.

Yea you did, it's cool though.

We didn't go into the business end of the season without our two starting Fullbacks and striker, due to over load injuries.

Which could have likely been prevented if they got rotated more in the season.

Martinez didn't look dead on his feet from around February, so did Cubarsi.
