Circumstances, I agree.
Players? I am not sure our squad is any worse than that of Inter in 2010.

Inter didn't have such stiff domestic competition.

We have to beat RM and AM for our LL and CDR.

And I would say our XI is better than Inter's XI by a little bit, but overall squad definitely inferior.

As I said, I agree with the circumstances argument:boss:

That's a really formidable XI.

The only "weak" links are Chivu and Pandev lol.

I wouldn't take our XI over theirs actually.

Exactly lol, IDK what Khalid is talking about, maybe the Squad but not the XI, I can't remember the entire squad.

Goalkeeper and back 4 inter better by a long way, bar chivu was who also solid.

Midfield better as well, 2/3 anyways, Zanetti wasn't a midfielder, but the other two significantly better than ours including pedri at this point of his career.

Front 3 about equal maybe and that's just because of yamal.

If flick wins the treble with this team, this teams isn't the best team to ever win treble, but it will be the best treble ever.

He'll need to find a balance in the next season to keep the team fresh enough for the crucial part. In München, his second year was also worse in defense, as his football demands an insane amount of running, pressing and effort to close the gaps and win back the ball as fast as possible, so your opponent can't expoit your high back line. With today's criminal schedule, it's even more difficult to maintain it over a season and repeat it in the next one.
We definitely need a bigger squad to rotate and Flick also needs to find games where he can take the foot from the gas. That will define the success of next season.

Great post

At least next season the players will be coming off a summers rest and a full pre season.

Euros and then players like Araujo, Christ, FDJ, Gavi, Pedri all not being fit properly for pre season all plays a part.

While a lot of other top clubs have a stop start pre season with the riches of the Club World Cup.

If the cunts from Madrid drop points today, he must play a very rotated side against Mallorca. I'm talking about max 4 outfield starters from the first XI.
I like this idea. Just let them rest first half. The starters. Not many better spots to rest players. Maybe the only one.
