I'd argue that only Osasuna, Las Palmas and Leganes defeats are bad results. And if we win those 3, we'd win the league a month ago.

We always draw away at Getafe. We always struggled against Sociedad away. We lose an Atleti game from time to time and Betis/Celta are decent sides.

If we prevent those 3 results (Osasuna, LP and Leganes), we win the league again next year.
Ya exactly. Those game fell during our worst period.
I'd say, if we had a full squad, we would have at least gotten 10 points from those matches.

We shouldn't make the same mistake. Get good backups this mercato, while also rotating during the first half of the season.

If anything, this shows, playing stellar during the first half of the season is overrated anyways. What we should focus on is team gelling together, getting enough rest and game time, for everyone in the team to be in form and rested when the crucial part of the season starts around Feb-March.

I mean if we maintain our form without major injuries to key players like Raphinha/Lamine, and improve certain areas, a 90+ points season is very achievable. We are unlikely to get there as we will be complacent, just like in 23 season.

It is all about maintaining our level rather than playing "your turn/my turn" with RM.

La Liga will be a lot different next season, teams will have an entire season of tape on us and 2 months to come up with a plan without worrying about the next match.

It will be won by the most consistent team start to finish, their will be no 10 points swing between the top 2/3 teams like this season.

We will see more 2-0 and 2-1 wins.

More teams will basically do what Espanyol did yesterday and what leganes did over the two games we faced them.

So we will have to learn how to break teams down through possession a bit more.

Or

Just give the ball to yamal, either way works lol

True and it will be more difficult than anything. Flick's football is extremly demanding physically and mentally. His second season at Bayern had already more problems than his first.
It'll be a near impossible task to maintain that physical output and keep the team fresh and healthy over the entire season at the same time, especially because we'll be the team to beat next season. Every small gear must work for this over the entire season, we can't afford players on the bench who can't help us win games like Fati and Pau this season. It'll be a huge task for Flick to even repeat this season and try to reach the CL final.

But there will be time enough for this talk, for now let's enjoy the here and now. Otherwise if you just look ahead, you forget to live in the moment and enjoy the results of one year of work.

Can you also give me the next lottery numbers please?

Yet another one who doubts my powers of foresight.

Even though he's challenged and I've shown him it over and over again.

I'll be seeing you, at the end of the season.

@Don Juan Laporta Estruch Nicely summarised. Another key point was the no. of injuries (~8) Barca had early season, and throughout. Flick made it all work regardless.

Congratulations to all true culers who back the team at all times, in the highs and the lows (& whoever comes & goes), who can appreciate greatness without hate and haughty self-promotion, who remain humble and grateful for the joyous moments lived but also cautiously optimistic for the future.

To sum up the season in one word, it was exhilarating. The energy and exuberance of this young team marries up perfectly with Flick's all-out offensive football and embracing from him a fearless and winning mentality will only lay the foundation to the kind of players they will go on to become. When our youngsters nonchantly talk about outscoring the opponent, it isn't a mere illustration of their self-confidence but also of their belief in the football ethos of the man himself.

Thank you for such an enjoyable season !

Total monster. If he had finances behind him, he would destroy Europe even more than right now.

170 goals in 57 games from this team.

It’s not just the winning, but he wins in style. That’s the Barca way. Best attacking, proactive football + big trophies.
