Raphinha: “We will come back stronger”.

“We continue together. This season is not over yet. Every day that passes, I feel more proud to wear these colours. Proud of this team. Visça Barça”

Rafa gets my respect for this. Let's bring LL home.

Man, I can’t even have that power to type a post. In that such a state I am now, so deeply disappointed. More or less everybody agreed that we lost mainly due to Flick mismanagement error in the final of the game.
Going forward with RM, Flick should try to be more flexible, have a plan B, and change completely his tactic with advanced defence line. It could be a disaster class in special now with our very low morale after this game. We instead, should adopt an Italian style and play as economic as possible conidering that our players are more tired phisically than Madrid ones. We should play 4-4-2 giving impression that we are happy with a square result and punch them on counterattacks. Anyway, their only chance to win LL is to beat us and they will be forced to play offensively from start. It will be a smart idea to park the bus and defend much easier in front of speedy players like Vinicius , Mbappe and Diaz, as opposite to play high defence and leave them a lot of empty space toward our goal.
I am afraid that if we continue to play as usual ( high defence line and high press) they might easier punish us on counterattacks and, at some point, our higher fatigue will kick in and we ultimately will collapse.

Flick out? In your dreams. There is not a single fucking manager who will come and replicate what Flick has done here. Every top manager wants money to spend. Look at the fucking genius Pep.
Who are we going to get? Garcia Pimienta? 🤣

Letting the worst Vardrid side in decades win the league after we demolished them while exiting CL over the most basic malfeasance of basics, unacceptable and sackable offense if both occur. Bayernball will never be our long term future regardless.

Hey guys, I am a newer barca fan. Did this game (in your opinions), rank worse than the Anfield incident? My father is an Atletico fan and I vividly remember that night, would you guys say that today was really worse than that?

nope, not even comparable. That loss was a pure display of pussiness. It made me sick to be a fan and is one of the worst sports chokes I've seen as a fan of any team. Lakers sucked and had some crap playoff runs but nothing compares to that 4-0 Anfield, nothing. Team turned into a bunch of little b*ches.

This loss, if anything, showed a lot of spirit and fight, something barca lacked since the Pep days. If anything, us winning would be perceived as a massive chokejob by Inter considering they were leading 2-0 in both legs.

We been asking this man to be flexibile since the start of the season
It's not happening

Worse in terms of performance? No way. We should be proud of the team today. We have essentially a youth team sprinkled with a few seniors and a new coach. UCL semi is always hard. No matter what anyone says, every team that makes it to this stage is a top team.
This does feel a bit more bitter because we were literally 5 mins away from a win. With Anfield we capitulated and hope was lost earlier so it was easier to swallow cause we did not deserve to win that one. This could have easily been different with just a bit more luck.

The thing is, he needs to sit down with Laporta and fill the bench with 3-4 players that he would actually use. We didn't rotate enough and both Balde and Kounde injuries are result of that. Our short bench caught with us at the wrong time. The fact that Fort was brought on, despite being a distaster on Saturday says it all.

That said, after 10 fucking years this team doesn't sulk in cup competitions anymore when down. This is a huge positive IMO and a good sign for the future.

Smarter, able to run out 5 min to win a huge match, absolutely. Going out and playing a low block from the get go Sunday???? Not happening with Flick in a million years.

Great football doesn't rely on gimmicky offside trap however well it's worked this season. Problem is we've relied on this gimmick so much our defenders rarely have to defend properly where they're caught deer in headlights in clutch non-offside moments. Without semi-automated and VAR how many goals would we have conceded with offside toes no one would've even known occurred five years ago.

I really like how he turned the team around in to the exciting team. He raised the value of our players as well. But we can't win cup like competition tough as CL with that kind of defending. I don't understand why we can play like that, but also more pragmatic at the time.
Inter basically played defensive match and scored 7 goals total. They also made mistakes in defence but were always covered by another player. I don't even blame our defenders as mostly they play 1 on 1. Araujo was really bad but ok. That time Olmo lost the ball 2 players were completely free and they scored, Barella lost the ball as well to Raph yet all our players will still covered. Even in last minutes we did that crazy high line and offside trap. I mean it is a fluke goal as probably defender wouldn't score like that many other times but first Martin was 1 on 1 then Araujo and those were dying moments with our lead - is it so crazy to have everyone behind the ball at that time?
Having said that he was out of luck as well, the system he plays depends a lot on FB and he had NONE, but I hope he learns something for the next year and implements some sort of pragmatic, regular, defending as well.
