I'm an araujo fan so maybe I'm blind to it, but how did he bully him though?

He came in from his back, I doubt he even knew he was there, the ball was already falling towards Dumfries by the team araujo jumped.

We wouldn't even have a chance at CL or Liga without Yamal and his natural intelligence. Xavi and Flick aren't responsible for Yamal other than playing him.

Also I doubt there's ever been a greater disparity in player quality on a team as we have with Yamal and Martin.

A point I agree with and made myself many times. But you have to see that the players who have improved showed important things before Flick and give credit to the players in question because they obviously have top qualities. They are not ordinary players.

You are not seeing Araujo being good on the ball with Flick. If the player is limited the manager can't do much. If the player is great, then a manager like Flick will improve him.

Flick has been amazing overall.

But I have a sneaky suspicion that our big jump compared to last season is due to Yamal’s explosion following his amazing Euro win.

If we play without Yamal, I don’t think Flick’s system gets anywhere near the same offensive output, especially in big games.

He has to dominate physically and aerially to be a Barca level player. His strengths are his physicality, pace, 1v1 defending and aerial prowess.

Obviously. His system needs elite players. You cannot play exuberant attacking football without stars.

Bayern had them, Barca has them. We have most of the pieces locked in but the thin squad is a huge issue that is beyond Flick's control and ability to make a difference.

The Dutch have a lot of physical, tall players including 6’4 VVD and they didn’t win all the battles in the box all game vs midget Argies. Probably because the Argies were very organized and just had more fire in their belly compared to the likes of Araujo, Cubarsi, and Inigo.

But Inter have considerably better delivery from set pieces than Netherlands which is one of the biggest factors.

He was claiming that making CL QF is a miracle and all praise be to Xavi for this miraculous achievement less than a season ago...

Not really. We can perform a miracle if we win the CL with this squad.

So far we are not in miracle territory. But amazing job so far for Hansi nonetheless.

If Xavi were still coach and the football had improved a little from previous season, this list would be a summation of everything wrong with every player, withholding xavi from achieving true greatness.

I feel like a few guys here just base their opinion on whatever they think makes Xavi look better at the moment.

Barca's system is all about outscoring the opponents right now.

As long as the offense delivers, you'll be fine.

The defense is very mid overall.
