Gianluigi Donnarumma

PSG ditching him for Chevalier must be one of the cleverest piece of business Luis Campos did.

He is the man that transformed PSG: signed Enrique, got rid of Messi Neymar Mbape and done players like Ramos, signed Vitinha Nevez Dembele Barcola Doue Kvara

He is the one who deserves the CL more than anyone

It's more like he is ditching PSG, so PSG are having to move for Chevy or get caught with their pants down.

With an unlimited budget I wouldn't really say 40m for Chevalier is a clever or outstanding piece of business, but just logical.

Donny finally earned his keep and played like a world class goalkeeper in last terms CL.

Personally I wanted Chevalier here based off of the little I seen of him. But I also wouldn't take him ahead of Donnarumma.

Now though, let's sit back, put our feet up and see how the Donnarumma soap opera unfolds. Madrid want him and Konate for free. I don't think PSZ will be keen on that, especially after Mbappe.

Madrid renewed Courtois, they won't go for him.
Chelsea can get him now by paying up, as they have been doing all summer, and the previous 7 transfer windows

Donnaruma is a good shot-stopper, always was, but is a mess when it comes to coming out of his goal, anticipating, and playing with feet. He is a tier below the best keepers like Allison, Courtois, (and now Joan Garcia!)
I would not go for him.

Campos is building a young team for the future, and is doing a fantastic job

Can see him going to Chelsea. They're going to be a force in a couple of years time when they're young squad has that extra experience. Palmer, Neto, Gittens and Joao Pedro are going to cause chaos for a lot of teams.

I never really rated Donnaruma all that much before last season.

Renewal not official yet though.

RM always been good at not overstaying starters. Even the Courtois signing was made much due to market opportunity even when Keylor was winning them crucial games in CL. They can afford having Gigi and Courtois compete for a season.

Donnarumma is one of those GK whose form dependent on being fully focused and being locked in, when he is like that he is the best in the world, when he isn't he is bang average with silly mistakes.

This year he had shitty season in the French league and very good one in CL, because of how focused PSG was on the later
