Florian Wirtz

Manchester City are withdrawing from the race to sign Florian Wirtz. City's feeling is that the transfer, which would be the most expensive in their history, does not represent value for money. They estimate the deal would cost around €300m all in and are concerned that it is over-inflated [

Liverpool would be smarter to use that money on a forward or two. Salah is not getting any younger, and the other options they have are average.

Would be good for him to go anywhere but Bayern.

That shit is so lame from German players.
Would you see us as CL contenders if we signed him and Ekitike?

This could be our lineup:

Alisson
Frimpong Virg Konate Kerkez
Macca Graven Szobo
Salah Ekitike Wirtz

Robbo, Bradley, Gakpo, Diaz, Mamardashvili, Endo, etc on the bench along with a few young, high potential players we'll sign.

Reliable local sources in Frankfurt say we're just about to start negotiations for Ekitike.

A forward will definitely be signed. That is confirmed.

This is Edwards. Bring extremely smart is his thing.

Would be CL contenders regardless IMO, the team just peaked too early last season.

But those signings, would push others to the bench, which would add real depth.

Every smart moves so far from Liverpool

Wouldn't Ekitike cost a bomb? Gyökeres might be a better option imo

fwiw I think you'll be contenders without Wirtz even
