Better than Musiala? Musiala looks easier on the eye with his insane close control.

Also, I wouldn't celebrate yet. We aren't used to these big signings. I still won't believe it until Romano says the 3 magical words. No way LFC are signing this guy for such a price. Nah.
Rummenigge himself said Wirtz is the best German player.
I don't watch too many Bayern games either, but I often read comments of Bayern fans were not satisfied with Musiala in some parts of the season. He lacks consistency this season, so for now Wirtz is ahead of him in my and many other German fans opinion. Obivously it's just for now and it can change going forward.

Temptation out there hedging his bets.

Either he hits us with an “I told you so” or celebrates like mad the moment they finally cough up a few pennies.

You're a Barca fan. You won't get it. You guys have had many big money and big name signings.

We don't spend big. We aren't supposed to spend big. We never do. Even VVD and Alisson were only because of the Coutinho funds.

No way we're spending more than 100 on 1 player. This is way out of our league. Have seen this movie many times before and I know how it ends.

He'll stay there for another year and move to Madrid in 2026.

Just because I can't be bothered typing it and reading it myself. Bear in mind how much these fees would be now.

In the 1990s, Liverpool's transfer spending was considered significant for the time, with notable signings like Stan Collymore (£8.5m), Paul Stewart (£2.3m), Nigel Clough (£2.75m), and Jason McAteer (£4.5m). The club also made a few high-profile signings during the mid-90s, including Phil Babb (£3.6m) and John Scales (£3.5m). While Liverpool had some successful signings, they also had some that didn't pan out as expected, leading to a mixed bag of results in terms of success and financial performance.
