Can anyone offer some help with flights from the UK please?
The best we've got is from London airports, but not many do a straight up shot direct to Barcelona and instead have connecting flights.
We just got off of the phone with British Airways and I cannot believe they don't fly, in fact no one fly's from Birmingham International, you know, second city and all, big airport...
Anyway, so they fly from Manchester... but it will take from 9:50 until 16:50 to get to Barcelona, eh? Yeah, they go from Manchester, to London, then to Barcelona... wtf is the point!?
Manchester is closer to us than London, so our best option is to jump on a train down to London, which will take a good couple of hours, yay!
*sorted, managed to find a better deal. Got a better hotel in the Gallery Hotel that's a 5* (according to British Airways), a free night thrown in the hotel, plus as cheaper flights are on the Thursday as opposed to the Friday. Instead of doing hotel & flights separate, we've done it all through the airline, saving about £140 overall. Happy days.
