FC Barcelona: Win of the youth system

The B/atletic team has always taken priority over Juv A even when not competing for promotion or trying to avoid relegation really not much change on that.

Not just that but they will prioritise the player development at higher level more so than Juv A winning.

Diarra going to be the most interesting one to watch in next few days.

He is the one with best chance as a bolter from Juv A to first team minutes would think if can impress here and then in pre season.

That RW slot is wide open for a younger player to get some minutes.

With 3 goals in 3 games he is hitting form and getting comfortable at just right time. Looks a player again.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Virgili being Yamal sub in 2 seasons, he's really surprised me.

Good scouting by the club

Will get a shot pre-season. It will all come down to how well and how quick he can link up in the first team. He can dribble and make a yard so if his decision making is there, Flick might take an eye to him.

Gut says he will be found wanting though.

My money would be on Toni and Diarra out of all of the widemen in the B and U19 though.

Tunkara is a bit away, scored a cheeky goal for the Spain U16 today btw.

Still dont see it with Virgili and would rate likes of Diarra as a lot more potential.

But could be wrong and what he does well may keep translating as goes up.

Def will be a potential spot for 1st team minutes next season for likes of Virgili, Diarra or Dani R if impress now and in summer.

It will be interesting to see who he takes on preseason in the summer, Toni and Kim for sure, he clearly rates those two.

But who else, I personally think he likes Landry, but we'll see.

Less of them be called up this summer.

Will be mainly first team and select few Flick wants a closer look at would think.

Jofre, Guille, D Rodriguez, Diarra etc would be my guess.

Toni?

If Flick has word that signings will be tight again then he may play the field early on, getting a look on last year's groups plus a few new faces like Kospo, Virgili.

We need those early stage pre-season phases of old in Netherlands and the like, where it was mainly Van Gaal testing the B teamers with a few fringe first teamers.

Is this finally Nano and Trashorras year? Tune in to find out as Barcelona play a third division dutch side.

Aye meant to add him.

This year the whole first team will be available for tour unlike last year. Could take bigger squad.

The B team could do their own tour and probably make money.

Cracking lineup.

We might look back at this in a few years time with Tomas Marques and Pedro R able to come off the bench for midfield.

Just an insane depth of quality, considering all of Cuba, Lamine and then Toni, Guille, Virgili, Soma are this gen.
