Europa Conference League

Sevilla won the Europa League 7 times, Atletico won it 3 times and Villarreal won it 1 time. You can’t use English teams’ incompetence in Europa as an excuse by saying English teams don’t care about Europa.
True

Also the size of Madrid and Barca alone is bigger than all 3 big PL clubs combined (yes, 3, pls spare me the top 6 bullshit)

I don't think Tempt realizes this, as he often tells us about how United is the biggest after Madrid.... this is far from reality, no matter what their data experts or whoever else says

English football is the embodiment of arrogance, a win for an English club is a loss for football Imo. The only English club that I can sympathise with is Liverpool and even they were unbearable for a few years after that accursed corner in 2019.

I never said this lol. Stop making things up.

I have ranked Real, Bayern and Barca as the 3 biggest clubs itw a million times on this forum.

I'm very objective about things like this.

I was about to say this. Not that I give a shiny shite about who’s the best league or biggest club or whatever but surely 90’s Serie A has to be the undisputed best era in league football.

Historically, Serie A is clear of both LL and PL lol.

90s Italia was CRAZY.
Yes on history, tradition, passion it goes

Italy
Spain
England

Germany also good when it comes to fans support and passion for football but their league has 0 history it's just Bayern dominating all the time

Forgot 17th placed Man United beating 4th placed Bilbao like 7-1??
I think PL is better than La Liga too (though I didn't always think this way) but to be fair that scoreline massively flattered United. Sure they were more clinical, but Athletic were the better team in the first leg and dominated United for 70 minutes in the second - their heads just dropped when United equalised on the night at Old Trafford.

A fairer reflection would have been like 4-2 or 3-1 on aggregate to United.

Regardless, you can say that a team from Ligue 1 was minutes away from taking out United. Sometimes these things happen. Athletic are a better team than United and I have no doubt that if you replay that tie again they'd do a lot better in terms of scoreline. A lot went against them in luck and decisions.

Isn't a low points total a sign of a more competitive league?
You can read that into it - or you can read into it that the top sides are weaker.

It depends how you want to spin it.

Also, you say everything else was 'fun and entertaining' - the relegation battle was an abomination for the second year running. Totally finished by like March.
