Erling Haaland

He isnt a great timer of the jump but does get them from his movement.

Is like Ronaldo in way he spots a weakness in back line of defence in a flash and knows where to expose it.

Ronaldo was/is far better in air but in terms of movement he will get on end of them.

As said... time will tell.

I doubt very much Haaland who loves Spain and has planned his career to keep progressing sees himself at City for rest of peak years.

If Haaland saw Man City as a stepping stone like Dortmund, he would have run down his previous contract until 2027 instead of accepting a 9.5 contract renewal lol.

He can enjoy Spain during off-season.

Yes but you need his pace to get there in time.

That's why he can easily beat offside traps. Because he's super fast.

He's weak in the air too despite his physical attributes.

Countless of super fast players in Premier League have never been as good as Haaland avoiding offside calls. It's all down to Haaland's outrageous IQ for timing his movement very well.

City not the club to keep hostages. If Haaland wants out they will find a way, or they already have a release clause in the contract.

Man City don't mind selling one of their key player for the right price. Barca tried to get Bernardo Silva for years, but couldn’t get him because he was unaffordable.

Haaland is their most valuable asset. No European club can afford him. He is worth €500M

Haaland had no reason to commit to all those years. You never know what happens in football and especially City after Pep leaves. Haaland with his agent Pimenta (ex Raiola) would be dumb to give the club all the leverage in terms of a future transfer, when they don't have to. For a player like Haaland the club must make some sort of compromise if he is to sign for 9-10 years.

A 200m clause active in a few years wouldn't surprise me.

Haaland earns roughly £500k per week from Man City, before bonuses are even considered. He will get at least £260M if that 9.5 year contract is completed. Which other European Club can afford to pay Haaland's salary that also matches his sporting ambition? Real Madrid only sign top players as free agent and PSG no longer sign superstars.

Haaland used to have a £175M release clause to be triggered in 2024, but didnt took advantage of it. Like I previously said, Haaland has now become a father and likely wants to settle down in Manchester with his family and allow his newborn child to grow up there instead of traveling around. Not to mention Manchester will still be a top club challenging for trophies after Pep's departure.

In short, hes a bitch with no ambition to be the GOAT.
