They were going to buy him anyway. AFAIK he will be bought only if Bale leaves which no looks inevitable. As for his playing style I know he is very fast and a good dribbler, I think I have heard him described as an Argentinian Ronaldo.

You're probably right but it's a big step for them. If you go through their team they are every bit as good as any of the other title contenders, if not better. The big question remains whether they have the right mentality to be title contenders. They have yet to even established themselves as a Champions League team.
