Pretty good game imo. Could have done better to go in harder for Madrid's 2nd goal, too soft indeed, but otherwise, barely set a foot wrong.

Great game IMO, eve after 2nd goal.
It looks worse than it is tbh, you can't go full speed so close to goal and don't put own goal, while Vasquez was going full speed.
Strength is still a bit of problem in such situation though

Better than Pique again and coming out with ball he is either moving it quickly into midfield and if not on and their defence is in shape he has the balls to drive at them with ball to try and disrupt it.

Contrast that to Pique who gets ball.. takes 4/5 touches looking for a world cup winning pass to the left wing and when not on just slows everything down. Even when that pass is on it looks impressive but opposition are not too fussed about it and just shuffle across to whoever receives it.

didnt like the signing at the start but there is some potential there. Its harder for young centre backs to start, hopefully when hes 23-24 he will become twice as good as he is today
