We have no money.
And a lot of player in the likes of Nico/Diaz and similar wouldn't want to compete with Raphinha, who in all intents and purposes could be a B'dor winner.
So we either look for a player of the caliber of Seghir or pay a lot of money.
If only Lookman could have been cheaper. Fits in nicely with all this.

Araujo, Christensen, Fati, Lenglet and other leaches are finnaly out if club (hope so).

Just getting rid of Ansu and Christensen will improve FFP for 22mil.

My point is, take Nico for eg. We know this guy is driven and wants to play.
If we and another club like Arsenal come, who do you think he might be inclined to go to? Leave the Amigo thing aside..
With us he has a B'dor contendor to compete with, and with Arsenal, he will walk into the starting lineup. So in oder to entice him more, we will have to pay him more.
Atleast that's what I think will happen. I can be wrong.
This is why I want us to persue Lookman, he is still in a position where being a glorified backup might be fine with him. If onlt he costs less than 50m.

Rodrygo is a starter. Whoever we get will be in comparison to Brahim Diaz.

Definitely worth 50m.
Because of his supposed falling out with the coach, I was hoping it could be cheaper, but it doesn't seem likely.
He is Atalanta starter, and their biggest performer this year. Atlanta looks like a pretty good team. He's definitely every penny worth that 50m.

Looking at the last game, even Ben Seghir type cheap player would have been sufficient, but we have useless "LW" to contend with.
